I started at Reaseheath in September 2016 and it was one of the biggest and best decisions I have made. Preparing for your degree can be really exciting (but also quite overwhelming) and it can be easy to forget the little things that can have a huge impact on how you feel in your first few weeks. I learnt a lot in my first year and I wanted to share some tips with you in the hopes that you will feel a bit more prepared and a little less nervous.
It’s been a week since Team Africa’s return to the UK and I know I’m not the only one that misses the atmosphere of South Africa.

My name is Nesta Wellman, I’m an international student from Bermuda (also known as the Bermuda Triangle) who enrolled at Reaseheath College for the academic 2016/17 year. This is my final undergraduate year but my first year at this college.
On Wednesday the 15th of February, our Foundation Degree in Canine Behaviour and Training students visited Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Home.
It’s been a hectic week here in Balule for Team Aardvark. So much has been going on and everyone has been getting well and truly stuck in!
As our departure date draws closer Team Africa have been going over the final travel details and hurrying to finish packing!
As another chance to improve our knowledge of South Africa our lecturer Ben put together a pub quiz that involved naming famous South Africans, identifying wildlife by their sounds and general knowledge of South Africa, just to name a few rounds!

It’s finally February and that means the Animal Science field courses are just around the corner! Team Africa have been busy getting to know each other with various team building exercises and brushing up on their knowledge of the wildlife (including rhinos) that calls Kruger National Park home.
