Currently in the final year of her public services course, Bethany is a consistently proactive and dedicated student.

As a police cadet Bethany supported the Cheshire Police headquarters (Winsford) with numerous open day events, talks and presentations about the police cadets programme – all helping to promote the programme and recruit new cadets.

Bethany was heavily involved in the Cheshire Police stand at The Cheshire Show last year, seeing her work alongside other cadets to set up the stand, which displayed a tent mocked up to look like a crime scene. Throughout the show members of the public were invited on to the stand to have a go at solving different crimes. Bethany took on the role as lead investigating officer asking the public who they thought the criminal was.

Aside from the police cadets Bethany helps to deliver football coaching sessions at Sandbach Football Club and she’s also volunteered at a local pre-school and a primary school – just a few of the hundreds of different activities that Betty has completed!

If you see her around the campus, please say well done!

What’s next for Bethany? After completing her Level 3 qualification she’s off to pursue a degree in Policing and Criminal Investigation at University of Chester.
